Custom made Regimental Wool Lace (Tape or Braid). MIS037 From the early 18th century to 1836, regiments of the British Army each had distinguishing colours woven into their wool lace on their coats. We now offer custom weaving of regimental lace at great prices:

Silver or Gold Metallic (Mylar) Tape (Lace or Braid) for officer uniforms and decorative accenting. Trimming braids or narrow fabrics like this are hard to find especially at this low price. Bias and Stand (B/S) pattern.

This size is used in trimming hats, mounting on belting, on livery, and other braiding projects.

Antique Silver Metal Tape (Lace or Braid) This real metal lace was made originally for the UK's Ministry of Defence and is considered vintage. The pattern is called double vellum (orris). This lace is also used in the US military and sold by some companies from $20.00 to $45.00 a metre!

2 inch (50 mm) False Gold Metallic Lace This lace is ideal for the binding of French Soldier Tricorn Hats during the French and Indian War (right combination of yellow and gold thread). It also is good for other decorative binding as it quite easy to fold and manipulate.
