A. Payment
Methods
1. Ordering by Credit Card
Simply mail, phone 519-942-0898 or FAX 519-942-3422 your order to us (Click Here for FAX/Mail Order Form). We accept VISA or Mastercard.
When you use your credit card, we will bill you the Canadian dollars.
United States residents: We charge you the $US price. (this amount is done in Canadian dollars and converted to US$ on your card statement).
Please feel free to Contact us if you have any questions about the credit card charge as it appears on your statement.
Security: While the internet is getting better there are still some security problems. Therefore we ask you to FAX, mail or phone your credit card information. Rest assured that your credit card and personal information is well protected. See our Privacy and Security Policy by clicking here.
2. Cheque or Money Order Payments
When you have received the total amount for your order including shipping you pay by personal cheque (US and Canadian Residents only) or an international money order. Make payment out to "The Discriminating General". Click here for mailing address
United States residents: You can pay in $US dollars with a personal cheque, bank draft, or a money order. (money orders: you can get them from your local the U.S. Post Office. They must say "International" on the money order).

Ordering Custom-Made Products
Since all of our products are custom-made, we treat each order on a case by case basis. Contact us with your request and we will provide you with a quote and an estimated completion date. This quote will be valid for 30 days.
Payment of Custom-made Products
We accept purchase orders from museums, governments, and corporations. Clients ordering a custom-made item are to provide one-third of the cost as a down payment in the form of a credit card, personal cheque (US and Canadian clients) or international money order. The balance is due at time of completion of the work.
C. Shipping, Handling, Taxes and Customs
All prices on this website do not include shipping and handling. All shipments are sent by UPS or mail. If you wish it to be sent by specific courier please mention it when ordering. Clients outside North America please contact your country's customs officials to find out if there are any duty and tax charges or restrictions.
United States Residents: Large items such as swords, muskets and headdress are sent UPS standard. UPS Shipping costs range from 12.00US (example: a hat) to 25.00US (example: a musket) depending on weight/dimensions. Smaller items are sent via US mail. There are no taxes charged and none of our products are prohibited in the U.S.
Canadian Residents: GST (5%) is added to all Canadian orders. Ontario residents please add an additional 8% PST. Shipping costs for large items are usually between 15.00 to 25.00CAN.
We ship to
almost all international destinations.
D. Return Policy
If the item(s) does not meet your need you can return it (postmarked) two weeks after the date we shipped it (3 weeks for clients outside North America). It must be in the condition you received it. The refund does not include any shipping and handling costs.
Returns are to be sent via the post office, and not through a courier like UPS (couriers charge our company additional fees which we will have to deduct from your refund).
