The Blues and Royals Officer's Helmet 575.00US (675.00CAN) When the red tunic-ed Life Guards are not parading past Buckingham Palace, it is the blue coats of the Blues and Royals that captivates the imagination of passer's by.  Introduced in 1871, this helmet is quite striking with its red plume.

The full-sized helmet offered here is the officer's pattern complete with a beautifully executed silver and gold (gilt) plated helmet badge which sports a silver 8 pointed Guards star with the cross of St. George and garter containing the famous motto: "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" (French for the expression: "Evil to those who evil thinks") in the centre which stands out with accents of red enamel.   

The helmet is lined with green leather an black velvet and the chin chin is also faced with black velvet.  All helmets are the same size: Large (about a Size 8 hat size - this is the only size).     The total height of the helmet is 17 inches (430 mm).  As the pictures attest, this helmet will make a exquisite addition to anyone's collection at an affordable price.  Normally this item retails for other $1200.00US but is offered here for less than half that price!

We send these items UPS Standard to our clients in the continental United States and Canada and charge 25.00US (29.00CAN) each.   For our clients in the United Kingdom and Europe it is 85.00CAN (approximately 38.00GBP  or EUR57,00).  Shipping to Australia is 99.00CAN  and 109.00CAN to New Zealand.   Shipments to ALL destinations  please allow one to two weeks for delivery after the order has been processed.
