Don't their sales pay for the site? Internet commerce is still a very new thing.
People still prefer to make their heritage purchases in traditional ways.
In this
case, internet purchases of War of 1812 items only cover a very small fraction of the
costs.
This site is a labour of love for us but we cannot continue to pay for it
much longer without assistance from you the reader.
Consider this site like a
magazine.
Magazines keep going by paid subscriptions and advertisment.
Up to
now we have avoided this.
